First Chinese BeiDou Satellite Receiver in Crete (copy 2)

The first Greece's only permanent Beidou/COMPASS receiver, tracking the Chinese Global Navigation Satellite System, has been installed 30-May-2012 in the University Campus. This is a UR240-CORS dual-system, quad-frequency, high-precision satellite receiver developed to operate as reference station. The receiver tracks Chinese Beidou, as well as, American GPS satellites. It provides millimeter-level carrier phase observations. The station is named "TUC4".
